British-American band FOREIGNER rolled into The Woodlands, Texas this past Friday night in support of bad boy KID ROCK for the Bad Reputation tour.
They came out with the big guns and started with their hit song "Double Vision". Then came a string of hits like "Head Games" and the almighty "Cold As Ice", a crowd favorite.
The band started off with no original members but nonetheless they sounded like the 80’s and the crowd loved it. Lead singer Kelly Hansen has been with the band since 2005 and has done an amazing job filling the huge shoes of ex-vocalist Lou Gramm. The rest of the band consists of all top notch musicians including founder Mick Jones who performed a few tunes with band due to health issues, Jeff Pilson on bass, Michael Bluestein on the keys, Bruce Watson on guitar, Chris Frazier on the drums, and Luis Maldonado guitar also. FOREIGNER over the years (established in 1976) has had 16 top 30 hits, 9 top 10 hits and hit #1 with their song "I Want To Know What Love Is". To say that they have had a long, illustrious career would be an understatement. If you can catch the show in your town, I highly recommend it!! This band has a lot of history.
