HINDER is pretty much a staple in the Rock music world. These Oklahoma based rockers have withstood many challenges and still remained chart toppers. They have to date released five studio albums. Being influenced by the likes of AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, DEF LEPPARD, OZZY, AC/DC and more they had great chart topping success from the first album on. They gained a name for themselves and toured with NICKELBACK, MOTLEY CRUE, AEROSMITH and PAPA ROACH throughout the first five album releases and promotions.
The upcoming release is an all acoustic EP titled Stripped and is the follow up from the last album release, When The Smoke Clears in 2015, which entered the Billboard 200 gaining four top 10 chart positions.
This was no surprise with the bands previous chart toppers such as "Lips Of An Angel", "Get Stoned", "Without You" and many more.
Stripped has 6 acoustic tracks and I believe fans will fall In love with this latest
project, a softer side of the band that will be showcased on an upcoming tour this summer. Many HINDER fans that have followed the band since its conception undoubtedly miss original vocalist and one of the founders Austin John Winkler.
He was a great force in the bands original success but I have to say Marshall Dutton, the new lead vocalist, has filled the shoes nicely. He was part of the band as co-producer and writer of the bands album All American Nightmare and all projects after that. Being named the band's vocalist in 2015 'just felt right' said the band. Band members Joe "Blower" Garvey (lead guitar and vocals), Mark King(guitar), Cody Hanson (Drums), Mike Rodden (Bass & vocals) have said Marshall was already part of the HINDER family even before it was made official. The band was already a fine tuned group and Marshall just moved in with ease. His vocals on the Stripped EP showcase his proven great vocal ability in raw form! Fans will hear these 6 tracks all acoustic.

This EP has a sound that's reminiscent of listening to EXTREME's "More Than Words" or even the likes of SAIGON KICK's "Love Is On The Way" acoustic version.
This EP reminds me of the MTV show Unplugged and the bands that could really play music and NOT rely on auto tune or lots of track fixing. HINDER proves very much so that they can go back to basics and play acoustically and what talented musicians all of the guys are. Stripped, much like previous albums, shows the subtle different genre influences of Country, Rock, and a little Pop. HINDER is not pigeon-holed into one sound and Stripped shows us this.
The EP is out on May 13th and you will not be disappointed, so make sure and grab a copy and watch for tour dates in your city. The tour kicks off June 3rd in Stroudsburg, PA with shows confirmed for CT, MA, OH, MI, CO, NV, and CA as of now.
