On March 7th, Colorado's brutal deathcore denizens CROWN MAGNETAR will unleash their new EP, Punishment, via Unique Leader Records. Once again helmed by producer-turned-bassist Mike Sahm, this upcoming record continues the band's release-a-year streak after 2024's re-mixed and re-mastered The Prophet of Disgust EP. Since their debut, CROWN MAGNETAR have amassed a fan base around the world, delivering chugging deathcore brutality across a handful of releases, while sharing stages with the likes of Lorna Shore, Dying Fetus, Suicide Silence, Born of Osiris, Carnifex, Spite, Enterprise Earth and more. With upcoming release Punishment, they are once again out for blood-and buckets of it. Fans will surely devour this EP with its over-the-top titles of "Barbed Wire Noose", "Nailed the Fuck Down" and "Decapitation Ritual", which are as much a brutal blast as the blazing beats and double bass that fill them; that those names make new single "Bringer of Dead Light" sound soft (on the surface) becomes hysterical when it decimates ear drums.
