Held Annually in Anaheim, CA, the METAL HALL OF FAME provides a forum and a stage to recognize and honor Hard Rock and Metal Icons. Hosted by radio personality Eddie Trunk and Cathy Rankin, This year's Inductees were Alissa White-Gluz, Doyle, Rikki Rockett, Jeff Young, Dangerous Toys, Burton C. Bell, Dimebag Darrell and the world famous radio station KNAC.
Accepting for Dimebag Darrell's post ominous induction was Dimebage's Hag, Rita Haney, who was a surprise Inductee.
Many of the veterans of the famous KNAC radio station were on hand to accept this well deserved honor. The radio station that was an important part in making Rock and Metal known throughout the world as THE station (and still the only in Los Angeles to the day) that would play many of the great bands making a name for themselves. For almost a decade, from 1986 to 1995, 105.5 FM, KNAC was the home for many Pure Rockers.
That name lives on through KNAC.COM and we continue to help provide a forum for Hard Rock and Metal, both classic and modern. We were able to talk to a few of the veterans of KNAC, as well as last year's Metal Hall Of Famer, Billy Graziadei of BIOHAZARD, and this year's Inductee Burton C. Bell.
Pat Gesualdo, Founder/CEO of the Metal Hall of Fame had this to say about this year's event:
"The 2025 Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala was one for the books. We definitely had some issues, as half of our team were unable to attend due to recent fires that had broken out that night, as well as many having the flu. With regard to the fires, I knew I had to help somehow, so we turned the 2025 Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala into a heavy metal telethon, where fans around the world could watch a free livestream, and then were able to help the victims of the Los Angeles County wildfires by donating via a direct link to the American Red Cross website. We proved to the world yet again that the heavy metal community is one big family, and we are always proud to reflect that in every thing we do."
