BABYLON A.D. has just announced the release of their latest studio album, Rome Wasn't Built In A Day, marking their return after a six-year hiatus from new music since Revelation Highway. With over 20 new songs to choose from, the band selected 11 tracks for the album. In a recent interview, frontman Derek Davis highlighted how last year's release of Live Lightning inspired the creation of this new album. He praised the addition of drummer Dylan Soto and bassist Craig Pepe to the band, emphasizing their exceptional musical abilities and songwriting skills. Alongside long-time members John Mathews and Ron Freschi, they form the perfect lineup for BABYLON A.D.

The album was produced by Derek Davis himself and mastered by Grammy award winner David Donnelly, known for his work with renowned artists like MOTLEY CRUE, CHICAGO, AEROSMITH, and SLASH. Described as a blend of BABYLON A.D.'s signature sound, the album features a mix of semi-ballads, heavier tunes, and a rocking instrumental piece. The first single, "Wrecking Machine", already has a music video set in a futuristic world, showcasing an angry lady robot and AI.
