In todays music world there is no shortage of women rockers. The women are showing that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Nikki Stringfield is one of them and is most known as the killer guitarist in the amazing tribute band called THE IRON MAIDENS. They are known worldwide and endorsed by IRON MAIDEN.

Nikki also has another band called HEAVEN BELOW with her husband Patrick Kennison (guitarist for Lita Ford) which they themselves are widely popular with both husband and wife sharing the vocals and guitar work.

Nikki released her first CD a couple of years ago called Harmonies For The Haunted. The EP received rave reviews and rightfully so. Her voice is a sweet and sultry sound that just pulls you in from the minute she starts to sing, but you will also be amazed at the music itself. This woman shows that she can stand toe to toe with anyone that's in the music biz today.

Now fast forward to the new CD called Apocrypha which means Forbidden Text in Greek. This album has a perfect combo of killer guitar riffs and vocals.

The lyrics of each song are very well thought out and the music is played to perfection showing that she took her time to bring the most completed, solid result possible.

With so much talent in the world today ,Both men and women need to bring their "A" game and that's what I feel you get with this new release from Nikki Stringfield. What makes this CD so amazing is how well it's been produced and arranged.

Now to the good part....

There is something for everyone and also a cover of SEAL's "Kiss From A Rose". I'm not a huge fan of the original, but I now do have a positive attitude toward this rendition. The main thing that I like about this CD and about her style is that she rocks like the men but keeps the beauty of sounding like a woman.

The first song "No Surrender" will hook you from the start and then standouts for me are "Wasting Away" and "As Chaos Consumes" and by the last song she will leave you looking forward to her next release. The album as a whole will really amaze you.

Look out music world, NIKKI STRINGFIELD is here to stay and showing no mercy.
