Sat June 26th I was blessed to attend an event in Colorado. It’s called Freedom Fest 2021. This show raises awareness for military personnel suicides. The money was raised for American Soldier Network. I want to thank the promoter Gary Dean who was gracious enough to let KNAC.COM cover the event.
I loved how the first thing that happen was the national anthem. We seem to have lost this in America but rockers are classy!! The line up was an amazing line up. The classic 80’s Hair bands were in full force with such great bands like AUTOGRAPH, BULLETBOYS (original members), Stephen Pearcy of RATT, KIX, SLAUGHTER and WARRANT. The weather was a little crazy and rainy at times but we wanted to rock! The crowd was very into the great tunes and more importantly they were there to support a great cause.
Also in attendance was the freedom bell. What a sight it was!! Freedom is not free and what military persons do for us should always be honored. This event was spectacular and I was very proud to be there.
Unfortunately we were not able to obtain photos of WARRANT because the lighting during their set was atrocious.
