Slaughter Prophecy is Sacred Steel's fourth album. I don't really know the other three and I'm not entirely sure if I ever will. The stuff I find on the present release of the German five-piece, who sell this sort of rubbish as "true metal," is enough.

The riffing is cheap, the playing is bad and vocalist Gerrit P. Mutz just cannot sing to save his life. As far as style goes, if there is any, it's a quite speedy sort of metal metal with the occasional dash of power metal, thrash and prog influences.

All in all, it's Stone-Age metal on the most primitive level of musical evolution. Check out the song titles: "The Rites Of Steel,” "Raise The Metal Fist,” Let The Witches Burn,” etc, etc... I mean, it's all been done before and much better.

Not everyone has to release albums. Sometimes it's just better to get a proper job instead...
