Kittie Tour Dates Announced - New EP Due By Newsferatu, Writer Friday, March 3, 2006 @ 12:54 AM
The hard-rocking girls of Kittie are making the kind of music their loyal fans have been craving, served up with the release of their new EP, Never Again. The three-song EP was recorded in a basement studio in London, Ontario during recording sessions for their upcoming full-length album. Never Again was released by Rock Ridge Music for digital download on February 7, 2006. With tour dates just announced, America will get a taste of the female metal band’s new lineup as the band hits the road this spring in support of their latest material.
The band has been focused on reconnecting with their fans since their departure from longtime label Artemis Records. The songs on Never Again are written and performed by the band without any nod to the music industry at large – these songs are written for their fans as a way of thanking them for years of loyalty. Morgan Lander commented on the release of Never Again; "We are excited to finally have the ability to get new music out to our fans and delighted to be doing so with the help of Rock Ridge Music. This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of the technology that is out there to introduce new material while we complete our forthcoming album."
Kittie, featuring Morgan Lander (guitar/vocals), Mercedes Lander (drums) and new members Trish Doan (bass), and Tara Macleod (guitar) are ready to tour North America. the following datres have been confirmed so far:
