FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE Unveils New Single/Video "No" By Larry Petro, News Monkey Wednesday, January 6, 2021 @ 2:20 PM
Commenting on the single, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE frontman Francesco Paoli states:
"We live in a world where people are searching for easy answers to complex questions. Self-styled gurus, fake news and miracle pills show up on screen as the silver bullet that may cast out all your fears and troubles. If you need shortcuts to dominate the intricate reality we live in, be aware that the outcome might not be what you expect. Will you find a way to save this world on Google? No. Will things change if we don't act? No. Will self-delusions lead us somewhere? No. Can music, and art in general, help us cope with this chaos? Absolutely yes."
Francesco Paoli adds:
"This release marks another milestone for our line-up, featuring Veronica, Fabio and Eugene as official band members."

Italian for 'venom', Veleno marks FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE’s first record in 3 years, since the release of their critically acclaimed record King (2016). The 'metal part' of Veleno was recorded in Rome, Italy at Bloom Recording Studio and Kick Studio with long-standing collaborator Marco Mastrobuono, while the 'orchestral part' - the ensembles - were tracked at Musica Teclas Studio in Perugia. FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE then took the effort over to Grammy-nominated Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, EPICA) at Hansen Studios in Denmark for mixing and mastering. The entire production of Veleno took, according to Paoli, about three months. Artwork for the album was created by Travis Smith (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, OPETH, KATATONIA).
