Louisiana quintet Soilent Green were involved in an early morning auto accident on December 4th that caused numerous injuries to the band members and forced them to cancel the rest of their 2001 tour plans. Guitarist Brian Patton and bassist Scott Williams suffered broken bones in
the shoulder area while vocalist Benjamin Falgoust, drummer Tommy Buckley and the road crew escaped with minor injuries.
The band's van reportedly rolled four times on an icy, snow-covered stretch of highway shortly after 4am (PST) in Eastern Washington. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The band has cancelled their remaining dates as part of the Extreme Music For Extreme People Tour and returned home to rest up and recover.
