MUSINK producers have announced that the 2009 tattoo and music tour has been canceled due to the current economic climate. The U.S. tour was scheduled to launch January 30, 2009 and feature Social Distortion and Motorhead, along with renowned tattoo artists from around the world, including MUSINK co-producer Kat Von D. "I'm sad that this year's festival will not go on as planned, but I'd rather the fans not be disappointed, as there were key elements that did not come together as originally designed," says Kat Von D.

Jeff Beck has slammed Led Zeppelin's comeback plans - insisting it will be pointless without former lead singer Robert Plant. The 64-year-old legend - who played in cult British act The Yardbirds with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page - praised the band's huge one-off concert at London's O2 Arena last December. But Beck argues plans for a full-blown tour should be shelved without Plant, who has repeatedly refused to join his old band mates full-time.
Plant finally killed speculation he would rejoin the band in September 2008 by stating he has, "no intention whatsoever of touring with anyone for at least the next two years."
Reunited New York/New Jersey metallers TT Quick have scheduled the following dates:

The band featured soon-to-be Nuclear Assault drummer Glen Evans. The current line-up features Mark Tornillo - vocals, Dave DiPietro - guitar, Walt Fortune - bass and Erik Ferro - drums.
