Alice Cooper's new album, Along Came A Spider has entered the U.S. charts at #53. The albumed charted #31 in the UK.
Shadows Fall confirm a mini-tour with AVenged Sevenfold. The band offers the following update:

Prevail, the most recent album by Canada’s hyperblasters Kataklysm, has been nominated for Album Of The Year in the “Metal/Hardcore” category. The Quebec Indie Music Awards (GAMIQ) is an awards show that recognizes achievements by Quebec independent artists. The event is produced by the Quebec Independent Music Association which also produces the Montreal International Music Initiative (MIMI).
On Friday, August 15th at 8pm ET on CMT, former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach will vie for the top prize in Gone Country 2, the follow-up to the network's highest rated series ever. John Rich returns as host and judge of the show. Other contestants include Grammy and Academy Award winner Irene Cara, American Idol finalist Mikalah Gordon, singer Jermaine Jackson, NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, actor Lorenzo Lamas and actress Sean Young.
