Metal Church will release their new album, This Present Wasteland, in Europe on September 26th via SPV Records. Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has completed his stint in rehab, celebrating his release by grabbing courtside seats for the Boston Celtics' basketball game on Tuesday. The singer checked into a facility in Pasadena, Calif., last month, prompting speculation he had slipped from sobriety, 20 years after he kicked hard drugs. Tyler later revealed he was in rehab on doctor's orders because of a foot injury.
Members of Led Zeppelin have confirmed that their recent reunion show in London will eventually be released on DVD. Speaking at an awards ceremony in London, both guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones said that they expected the concert to become available.
Nuclear Assault has cancelled an appearance at Norway's Sky Festival, and may have more cancellations in store. The band comments, "We're very sad to announce that unfortunately Nuclear Assault can't make it to the festival. Glenn (Evans - drums) broke his wrist some time ago and he will be needing surgery to be able to play again. Time will not allow him to be performing in due time for the festival in August. The band and their agent apologize for this misfortune. A replacement will be announced shortly. We'll keep you all posted."
Iced Earth have confirmed the release dates for their forthcoming full-length studio album, The Crucible Of Man - Something Wicked Part II, to be released on the Steamhammer/SPV record labels. the album is slated for release September 9th in the U.S. and Canada, September 8th in the UK and Europe, and September 5th in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Monster band, Lordi are getting ready to release a new album. The as of yet un-named work is set for release on October 28th in North America via The End.
