Manowar Kicks Off "Gods Of War" US Tour

NEW YORK - The "Kings of Metal," Manowar, will prime audiences for their "Gods of War" US Tour with additional "first leg" dates featuring HavocHate and Usurper.
"Together with HavocHate and Usurper, Manowar is on a path to destroy," said Manowar's Joey DeMaio. "It is our mission to unite the masses under the banner of metal. Everywhere we play will be laid to waste. We will melt the faces off of those brave enough to witness the Gods of War."
New York's HavocHate will also join Manowar for the full "Gods of War" tour, completing a lineup that also features Immortal and Catastrophic.
"We're very excited to be touring with the 'Kings of Metal,'" said HavocHate guitarist Freddy Ordine. "It's not every day one gets to tour North America with a band of their caliber. We're looking forward to hitting markets we have not previously hit, making new friends, fans, and learning as much as possible from those guys." The group is currently shopping their recently recorded debut album, "This Violent Earth."
Added Rich from Earache recording artists Usurper: "We are totally honored to be supporting the 'Kings of Metal' on their first leg of the tour. Usurper is a 100 percent hard, fist-banging, headbanging metal band, so it will be phenomenal to play for a 100 percent true metal audience. Be prepared to be assaulted by metal!"
