As previously reported, Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel opted to leave the Black Crusade tour to be with his family following the death of his father. At Demmel's insistence the band continued on with out him, conscripting members of tourmates Trivium, Arch Enemy and Dragonforce as stand-ins. Demmel returned for the last show of the tour, however, hitting the stage on December 14th in Helsinki, Finland.
