Love/Hate members Jizzy Pearl (vocals), Skid Rose (bass) and Joey Gold (drums) are reuniting for a UK tour in December. The dates have been announced and are as follows: December, 17 – Cardiff, UK - The Point, 18 - Bristol, UK - Thekla, 19 - Dudley, UK - JB's, 21 - Leeds, UK - Rio, 22 - Nottingham, UK - Rock City, 23 - London, UK - Underworld.
Salt Lake City, Utah's Halloween Havoc 2007 featurs Sixx A.M., Airbourne, Five Finger Death Punch and Korn. The show is scheduled for Thursday, October 25th at The E-Center.
Rhode Island's parole board will decide whether to grant parole to former Great White tour manager, Daniel Biechele. He's served a third of his four-year prison sentence for igniting pyrotechnics that sparked a deadly nightclub fire four years ago. The parole board was meeting Wednesday to decide whether to release him early from prison. The February 2003 fire at The Station nightclub in West Warwick killed 100 people and injured more than twice that many. It began when pyrotechnics used by Biechele at the start of a concert ignited flammable soundproofing foam around the stage. Biechele pleaded guilty last year to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter. He admitted lighting the devices without the required permit.
Megadeth's new video for the song "Never Walk Alone" will premiere exclusively on the official Megadeth MySpace page this coming Wednesday, September 26. The video was shot on August 22nd at Cheyenne Studios in Castain, California. Check out myspace.com/megadeth for details.
Axel Rudi Pell responds to feedback he's gotten about his decision to cover the Phil Collins hit, "In The Air Tonight". "'What? Axel Rudi Pell is covering 'In The Air Tonite', the megahit by Phil Collins?' I have received a lot of reactions like that, but what is wrong with that? Nothing! This song has a great melody and a very cool drumbeat. We arranged the track a bit different, added more guitars and a special drum/percussion part to it and speeded the end up a bit. Another song which fits perfectly to the Axel Rudi Pell style. Give it a chance and have a listen, I guess you´ll like it!"
