BLS's Zakk Wylde Cancels 7 Acoustic Shows By Debby Rao, Boston Contributor Monday, February 19, 2007 @ 3:18 PM
Here are the dates that are effected:
Black Label Society guitarist Nick Catanese checked in with KNAC.COM to discuss his January NAMM appearance in Anaheim, California, the upcoming Black Label Society Spring Tour, and Black Label Society's latest release, "Shot To Hell" on Roadrunner Records.
As to his health, "I'm doing good. I had a relapse of pheumonia and I am on on antibotics. I got to get myself back for the tour in March."
Nick Catanese signed at the Dean Markley Booth, EMG, Tone Pros, Coffin Cases, and Washburn Guitars. The Black Label Society guitarist is endorsed by Washburn, and has his own ET Signature Guitar line. Nick says highlights of NAMM include: "Meeting Paul Stanley, signing with George Lynch, Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez, and meeting so many cool people. When fans asked me at the Booth signings for guitar advice, I told them, 'Play with your heart and love every minute of it.'"
Catanese performed at the special NAMM Black Tooth Bash Event and describes his Signature Washburn "Shot To Hell" guitar: "Well, what I wanted to do was take the body style somewhat and the feel of a Les Paul and make it even more mean. It has everything I love, which includes a fat neck, jumbo frets, and EMGS, Tone Pro bridges, and it's just a weapon of doom."
