Ronnie James Dio and Slash to be Inducted into Hollywood’s RockWalk By Newsferatu, Writer Thursday, January 11, 2007 @ 2:39 PM
Next Wednesday night, January 17th at 7pm, Ronnie James Dio (Dio, Heaven and Hell, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Elf), Slash (Velvet Revolver, Slash's Snakepit, Guns N' Roses) and Terry Bozio (Missing Persons, UK, Frank Zappa) will add their handprints and signatures next to a long list of music legends including: Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Bonnie Raitt, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, John Lee Hooker and Earth Wind & Fire among numerous others. Among the metal notables who grace the Rock Walk include: AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Motley Crue, Motorhead, Ted Nugent, Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde. The event is open to the public and happening at 7425 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, CA.
