Heavy Metal fans know Canadian songstress LEE AARON as the "Metal Queen", but she is more of a musical chameleon. Aaron has explored Pop, Jazz, Hard Rock, Blues, AOR, and more throughout her eighteen albums and 40+ year career.

Tattoo Me is the latest release by LEE AARON. It dropped on April 26, 2024 through Metalville Records. It marks the first covers album in her catalog, and takes the listener on a journey through the songs and artists that influenced her career, including HEART, ELTON JOHN, FLEETWOOD MAC, NINA SIMONE, ALICE COOPER, and more.

I had the chance to catch up with LEE AARON a few weeks before the release of her latest album. Together we discuss Tattoo Me, why she chose the songs and artists she did, a bit of the behind the scenes of her music videos, meeting Ann & Nancy Wilson of HEART, her upcoming live performances, whether we can expect LEE AARON outside of Canada, her 2023 induction into Canada's Walk of Fame, the 40th anniversary of "Metal Queen", her son's reaction to seeing the music video for the first time, how Aaron and her band craft new music, and much, much, more.
