RAVAGE, the traditional US heavy metal rockers from Boston, Massachusetts have released their new advanced single "Manmade Ice Age". Check out the lyric video streaming BELOW.
The single will be included in the band's forthcoming full-length album Spider On The World to be released in 2024.
Singer Al Ravage comments:
"I think this song is a good summation of what we've been working on for the last couple of years coming out of the pandemic. Lot's of guitars, lots of melody and lots of attack. We brought in Pete Rutcho of Damage Studios, who mixed our The End Of Tomorrow album, to help give this latest record a crisp, modern, sound but the guys in the band are pretty much slaves to the traditions of classic heavy metal so I think we've achieved a good balance and fans of killer melodic metal of all stripes will be pleased with it. This is just a taste of what we have in store for the full-length, which I think features the best material we've yet done. Crank it! Ravage The Earth and Ravage In Peace!"
RAVAGE is back with "Manmade Ice Age", the first single from the band's forthcoming Spider On The World full length album. The band's new record will prove to be a collection of uncompromising melodic heavy metal songs at the highest level from a band that has never bowed to trends.
RAVAGE formed in Boston, Massachusetts, USA in the mid 90's seeking to produce exciting, kick-ass music and offer an engaging live performance inspired by the classic metal heroes of yesteryear but with a fresh and modern edge. As many of the genre's legacy acts begin to disappear, RAVAGE continues on, offering a new voice for traditional metal. RAVAGE has always ignored passing trends to instead offer a sound that unquestionably falls within the bounds of heavy metal and thrash, while remaining uniquely distinguishable from any band that has preceded them.
RAVAGE's latest release Spider On The World will follow in the same mold. The record has a crisp modern production courtesy of the band and metal productions master Pete Rutcho of Damage Studios who has mixed albums for REVOCATION, Danny Elfman, HAVOK and others.
RAVAGE's core line-up from the original recording remains intact with founding vocalist Al Ravage and his brother, guitarist Eli Firicano combining with long-time guitarist Nick Izzo. Al Ravage's unique vocal stylings and the guitarist's dual lead guitar assault are complimented by the crushing rhythm section of drummer Toni Belchior and bassist Tommy G.
RAVAGE has toured the United States and Europe, playing in 17 countries and 30 states. The band has appeared at international festivals including the Headbager's Open Air, Magic Circle Festival, and Swordbrothers Festivals in Germany, Legions of Metal Fest, New Mexico Metalfest and True Metal America festivals in the United States.
The band is currently weighing label offers for the release of the album with a tentative release due in early 2024.
