Recently, I discovered a cache of recorded interviews that I conducted during the glory years of KNAC.COM, and have started to upload them to my YouTube page - JunkmanRadio. The first one is one of my favorites. In February of 2008, my friend Inger Lorre, the legendary and outrageous singer for the LA rock band THE NYMPHS (Google them, trust me, it's an interesting band) who had previously visited my show, and was a very entertaining guest, offered up a dream interview. Apparently, she had been collaborating with the one and only Lemmy Kilmister, he of course from MOTORHEAD fame, on a variety of projects.

She also wanted to bring Henry Rollins in with her, but his schedule didn't allow it. But, to my delight, Inger showed up right on time. Shortly afterwards, my phone rang, and it was Lemmy. He had arrived at the studio, and I needed to find him a place to park. I remember walking out to our studio lot in Hollywood, and in the back of an SUV sat the great Lemmy. I recall that he was listening to CROSBY, STILLS AND NASH's classic song "Helplessly Hoping" and, to my delight, was a adding a fourth harmony to the chorus - his own. And, strangely, it worked!

What follows, was what you can hear now for the first time since it went live in February of 2008. Two hours of incredible conversation with a pair of legends. I had gotten in the habit of taping my interviews, and even though they were recorded on cassette, I had the frame of mind to try and change tapes and not miss much of the interviews. This particular afternoon gives us insight into the brilliant minds of both Inger and Lemmy. We spoke of course of their music and their collaborations, but Lemmy's insight into all kinds of subjects, such as politics, and religion, and many other things are particularly fascinating. It's honest, and real, and totally "off the cuff" and gives you lots of insight into how the late Lemmy felt about the topics of the day.

I will be adding many more interviews in the future, so stay tuned to my YouTube channel. Subscribe if you would like. Again, this one is for the fans such as myself of the late Lemmy, but the brilliance of Inger Lorre as well. Enjoy!
