North American Dates for Zappa Plays Zappa Tour

In the late 70s and early 80s, Frank Zappa would tour with a group of amazing musicians including a young guitarist with a shaved head who Zappa would introduce this way, "...and on impossible guitar parts, Steve Vai."
Vai will be one of many special guests on the upcoming Zappa Plays Zappa tour in Europe, and according to his official website, (www.vai.com) he will also be appearing on the U.S. leg of the tour.

Vai fans should note that because he is only a guest he may not perform for the entire set. The main band will feature Dweezil Zappa on guitars, Bryan Beller on bass and Joe Travers on drums. Other special guests on the European tour include Zappa alums Terry Bozzio and Napoleon Murphy Brock.
