NY Metal Specialty Store Celebrates 20 Years with Death Metal Concert By Newsferatu, Writer Friday, November 4, 2005 @ 7:25 AM Poughkeepsie Rocks - advertisement - - advertisement - Heavy metal fans in Poughkeepsie, New York have been packing into the Rock Fantasy store for 20 years now to pick up comic books, wrestling and metal merchandise as well as video games. Now the store is celebrating it's 20th anniversary with a little death metal. Tomorrow night (Saturday), the anniversary party concert will happen at the Chance Theater, 6 Crannell St. in Poughkeepsie. New York death metal band Suffocation will headline. Also performing are Cryptopsy, Vader, Decapitated, Aborted and Despised Icon. Adult film star Jasmin St. Claire will make a guest appearance. Tickets are $20.
