Vince Neil to Launch Winery By Newsferatu, Writer Sunday, May 22, 2005 @ 5:52 AM
Motley Crue front man Vince Neil announced Friday he has joined a winemaking venture called Vince Vineyards. He plans to start with 500 cases of 2003 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and 250 cases of 2003 Sonoma Chardonnay.
"I have enjoyed great wine for most of my life and wanted to create something other wine lovers could experience and appreciate," Neil said in the statement.
The singer's partners are music agent Burt Stein and Emerald Vodka's Russ Dale, and Neil himself will have little to do with the actual winemaking. Harry Parducci at Adler Fels Winery in Santa Rosa will produce the wine. It will initially be sold for around $20 a bottle in Las Vegas, where Neil lives, as well as Los Angeles, Nashville and New York.
