Key Club Welcomes Legendary Hard-Rock Legend Danzig Wednesday, December 29, 2004 for a Special Performance
(West Hollywood, CA) Key Club is proud to present Danzig for a special intimate performance on Wednesday, December 29, 2004. The hard-rockers will be performing with DOYLE for the first time on stage together in twenty years. Doors open at 7:00PM and tickets are $30.00. Glenn Danzig co-founded The Misfits in 1977. When the hardcore band broke up in 1983, Danzig formed the metallic, brooding Samhain in order to experiment with different sounds, but that project fizzled out as well. The band Danzig was put together in 1987, and quickly inked a deal with Rick Rubin's Def American label.
Following a falling out with the record label in the mid-1990's, Danzig changed the bands line-up. This fresh start led to the release of Danzig 6:66 Satans Child, a truly unique-sounding, hard-rocking record. Throughout their long and successful career Danzig has consistently produced some of the darkest metal albums ever, setting the standard in this genre. Danzig is currently touring in support of their latest album titled Circle of Snakes.
