HOLLYWOOD – Furious George brings Lynch's guitar playing to a new level of shredding. The album is collection of cover tunes with extensive guitar solos that will leave his legion of fans pointing and staring as their speakers melt in the guitar fury. Lynch exhibits an awareness, sensitivity and mastery of a variety of styles on this record as he navigates musical territory originally trod on by artists such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Grand Funk, Mountain, Jeff Beck, Montrose, Cactus and Captain Beyond.
At times reminiscent of the original arrangements, Lynch's playing retains his individual sound and character, which has long kept the loyalty of his fans.
