New York, NY – Lamb of God are proud to announce Ashes Of The Wake, the follow-up album to the band’s critically acclaimed release As The Palaces Burn. The new album, produced by Machine (Clutch, King Crimson, Pitchshifter), and featuring special appearances from Chris Poland (Megadeth) and Alex Skolnick (Testament) is set to hit stores this fall. Lamb of God along with Hatebreed and Slipknot, are set as the only non-rotating bands on the Ozzfest 2004 2nd stage.
Earlier this year, Lamb of God entered Water Music in Hoboken, NJ, and Sound of Music studio in the band’s hometown of Richmond, Virginia, working to complete Ashes Of The Wake. The album features the strongest and most sophisticated Lamb of God sound to date. “Our new record has more range than any of the others,” says guitarist Mark Morton. “We've really stretched out on this one and pushed ourselves harder than ever before...”
