King's X Drummer Jerry Gaskill Releases Solo Album; King's X Tour Dates By Sefany Jones, Contributing Editor Monday, May 17, 2004 @ 1:08 PM
Jerry Gaskill, drummer for the critically acclaimed band King's X, has just released his first solo album, Come Somewhere, on InsideOut Music America.
Come Somewhere features Gaskill stepping out on lead vocals and acoustic guitar (in addition to his drumming, of course). He wrote all 15 songs (except one co-written with his brother Herb Gaskill) and they are very melodic, which is natural considering his love of the Beatles. Joining Gaskill on Come Somewhere is his King's X bandmate Ty Tabor, who produced the album and played guitar, bass and keyboards.
King's X tour dates include:
