In late 2003, Edward and Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony, the three remaining founding members of Van Halen, reportedly joined Azoff's roster of clients, thereby starting the rumors that a runion with Hagar was inevitable. Since then, the trio signed a deal with Peter Grosslight, worldwide head of music for the William Morris booking agency in Los Angeles, for touring representation. In addition, Blabbermouth.net is reporting that Warner Strategic Marketing have negotiated a deal with Van Halen for a new greatest-hits package featuring three new songs. A release date for the collection has yet to be announced.
Now, with all this recent activity, tour dates slowly being announced and Roth denying any sort of reunion with him in front, the Hagar-Halen reunion rumors might indeed be true... stay tuned!
