Yes, Hell has officially frozen over…
As we reported in the newswire last year, rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his family will be the subject of a new MTV series. Well, now he show, creatively titled The Osbournes, will officially make its debut on March 5th at 10:30pm right after The Real World.
The series is based on a six-month period during which Ozzy and family allowed the network nearly unlimited access to their daily lives. The show peaks behind the scenes at the life of the Ozz-man, his wife/manager Sharon and their two children, Kelly and Jack. According to the network, the show deals with typical and not-so-typical family issues such as school, pets, tattoos, adolescence and life on the road. "No one could write the characters of Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly -- they're simply too real," said MTV Senior Vice President of Music Development Lois Curren. "MTV has really created a new form - it's part reality show, part sit-com, and there is nothing like it on TV."
