According to Rob Zombie's official web site, the ghoulish frontman is currently completing work on his long-delayed horror flick House of 1,000 Corpses, which was dropped by Universal last year. Zombie is adding new scenes to the original version, and editing and recording the film's soundtrack.
Zombie will then head into the studio to cut his interpretation of "Blitzkrieg Bop" for the upcoming Ramones tribute album. Zombie is also expected to return to the road in early March on a headlining trek that will also include punk rock legends The Damned and industrial metalheads Sinisstar.
In other Zombie news, MTV is showing the video Rob directed for Ozzy Osbourne's new single "Dreamer." You can also catch Zombie on the current episode of MTV’s Cribs. Zombie’s The Sinister Urge, has officially been certified Gold by the RIAA after selling over 500,000 copies.
