CANNIBAL CORPSE set to release box set with loads of extras!!!
Death metal legends Cannibal Corpse will be releasing a remarkable box set in November 2003. This box set, sorry no title yet, will contain 3 CD's and 1 DVD. One of the CD's will be Cannibal Corpse's original demo that the band made before signing to Metal Blade Records in 1990. The rest of the CD's will contain three new cover songs, Created To Kill which is the VILE studio sessions with Chris Barnes original vocals, and will contain a "best of" collection that Brian Slagel and the band will pick out that will span the length of their illustrious career.
The DVD will have the frequently bootlegged Moscow concert originally recorded on May 25, 1993, the bands first show ever opening for Dark Angel, and their entire set at the Metal Blade Records 20th Anniversary Party excluding two songs which will go on Metal Blade's 20th Anniversary DVD. There will also be 10-15 minutes of behind the scenes material shot from when the band was recording Eaten Back to Life and Butchered at Birth.
The box set will also include a poster, 2000 of which will be signed by the band, a comic book drawn by non other than Vincent Locke, a huge booklet that will contain many pics and a history of the band, and last but not least a Cannibal Corpse guitar pick.
This is not only going to be a must for any Cannibal Corpse fan but any fan of death metal at all! More information soon to come!!!
