Guitarist Zakk Wylde and his Black Label Society are readying their new album, The Blessed Hellride. While delivering the patented BLS sonic death-blow on tracks like "Stillborn," "Stoned and Drunk," and "We Live No More," The Blessed Hellride also showcases the multifaceted nature of Zakk on the acoustic-based title track and the somber "Dead Meadow."
The reaction to Zakk's new album has already gone through the roof. The first single "Stillborn" was the #1 most added track at active rock and rock radio this week! A video for the song was just completed this week in Los Angeles with Rob Zombie directing.
The Blessed Hellride will be in stores on April 22nd.
Black Label Society will be performing 10 shows on the west coast prior to Zakk joining up with Ozzy in Japan. He'll also be performing the National Anthem at the final LA Kings game for the regular NHL season on April 2nd.
Look for BLS to tour the entire country later this year, and you can catch Zakk all summer long performing with Ozzy on this year's Ozzfest.
