Comments Knight, "It's a fucking blast putting this thing together. Veronica and I pick all of the bands and organize the entire weekend. I handle all of the art and a lot of the promotion side too. It's a metric shit ton of work and it's really stressful, but in the end it's all worth it. We're basically just making something that we wish was already had; a bit of the ol' 'if you build it, they will come.' I spent a lot of time at various metal fests last year, either playing them with CHILD BITE or simply attending them. It's great to see what works, what doesn't, and just in general let it affect how we plan our next event. This is our biggest lineup yet, and our biggest venue, so I can't wait to see how it all turns out!"
Sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon, VGKids, ESP Printing, UHF Records, CJAM 99.1 FM and Woodward Avenue Brewers, BERSERKER III will take place on March 3rd, 4th and 5th with a special FREE PreSerker kickoff party slated to take place at Small's (Hamtramck) on Wednesday, March 2nd featuring eight bands on two stages. Doors are at 7:00pm. It's all-ages and did we mention it's FREE?
