ROBERT PLANT Turns Down $800 Million For LED ZEPPELIN Reunion? By Larry Petro, News Monkey Monday, November 10, 2014 @ 5:41 PM Virgin Tycoon Richard Branson Offers 35 Dates In 3 Cities - advertisement - - advertisement - Robert Plant, frontman for the legendary rock band LED ZEPPELIN reportedly ripped up a contract offered to him by Virgin tycoon Richard Branson for $800 million US dollars to reform the band for their final tour. The tour was to include 35 dates in 3 cities and all of the other members, including Jason Bonham, son of legendary drummer John Bonham, who would have been the drummer. According to the report on Mirror.co.uk, the tour would have earned singer Plant and fellow founders Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones £190 million each before tax. Jason Bonham would have been paid a wage to perform. But Plant said he thought it wasn’t the right thing to do. A source close to the group said: “They have tried to talk him round but there is no chance.
