In Flames’ official site posted the following update:
“Hello all! You can now see pictures featuring In Flames, performing in a new upcoming Swedish movie, starring actors Tuva Novotny and Shanti Rooney.
“On the shoot, Jesper [Strömblad] and Peter [Iwers] were joined by long time friends: Fredrik Kreem (webmaster), Daniel Antonsson (Pathos, Dimension Zero) and Fredrik Johansson (guitarist/drummer, appears on The Jester Race) filling in for Daniel, Björn and Anders as they were attending to promotional issues. Also starring were backup singers Jenny, Christina and My.
“The film (yet untitled) is based on the book "Till Sanningens Lov," written by Torgny Lindgren. The film will open in cinemas across Scandinavia in February 2003, and it will be the biggest movie this year.
“In further news: as you probably know we have a new record Reroute To Remain coming on September 2nd, and in support of that we will embark on a huge world tour, starting on August 1st in Atlanta, and rounding up in late December in Asia. All dates will be available soon!
“This is our best record so far and we are really proud of it. We hope that you will appreciate it as well. See you on tour !
