Overkill vocalist Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth posted an update on the band’s official website following a minor stroke he suffered onstage in Nurenburg, Germany two weeks ago:
"Well, slapped by the hand of fate...God?
"Hmmm, regardless, I don't write the script, just act it out, like the rest.
"The deal is... boom, in the brain... but got through it. Had a ton of tests in Nürnberg, I know a little German, Doc kept mumbling... 'can't find it...' I think he was talking about my brain. One of life's little detours, but just a detour... the road traveled is intact. All parts working, well, the ones that worked before anyway... and was given no medical reason to stop doing what I do. Your well wishes for me is the best medicine I've received... even the 'he's dead" ones brought a smile to my face.
"So... again ... 'up the irons, we're goin’ in... can't kill a dead man.'
"Thanks, BB"
