From Hits Daily Double.com:
WHO’S STILL ON: Despite the sudden death of Who bassist John Entwistle on the eve of the band’s U.S. tour, the show will go on, according to industry sources. While tonight’s scheduled show at the Joint in Las Vegas and tomorrow night’s (6/29) at Irvine Verizon Amphitheatre have been canceled, the band’s tour is still on, with the first performance slated for the Hollywood Bowl on Monday (7/1). Veteran session man Pino Palladino, who has played with both Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, as well as Eric Clapton, Don Henley and Elton John, will take over on bass. The news was first announced on Townshend’s website (www.petetownshend.co.UK), where he simply said, "We are going on. First show Hollywood Bowl. Pray for us John, wherever you are." A full statement from Townshend and Daltrey is expected shortly.
