KISS Will Play London For Charity Fundraiser By Tokemaster General, Contributor Thursday, June 14, 2012 @ 2:43 PM
The band has also announced the official release date for the first single off of their forthcoming album Monster. The album itself is set for an October release. A new single will be released on Monday July 2nd just before their London show, and all proceeds from both the concert and the single will go to the "Help For Heroes" charity; an organization that supports servicemen and women who are injured, wounded or have become sick while serving.
Frontman Paul Stanley shared, "The greatest national treasure of any free country is the army that defends it at all cost. Bringing attention to the obligation we all share to those returning heroes has been our mission in the US and now the UK. We pay tribute to those brave men and women and urge everyone to show their thanks with donations".
In addition to a new single release from KISS, July 2nd also marks the release of their new "Monster Book": a collection of both artwork and 126 photos which span the 40 year career of the legendary rock band, including never before seen images from the world's most iconic rock photographers.
Tickets for KISS's show at the HMV Forum will be on sale tomorrow, June 15th.
