The show was packed and the Guns were ready to raise hell as the opening chords of ‘No Mercy’ blasted through the speakers sending the sold out crowd into a frenzy! Main man and legendary rocker Phil Lewis took charge through this early set entering the concert hall with a light up hat. The band was in fine form on this gorgeous Saturday evening and through any concert-goers eyes it is easy to see that this band of road dogs truly enjoy being on stage and appreciate their fans. Kenny Kweens was a fine audition to the band, moving around constantly and having a blast! Steve did a great job bringing on the Thunder as expected. Stacey nailed the solos and proved he’s a great player on all angles (want more proof? Check out Symphonic Slam), minus the minor technical difficulties occasionally happening of Stacey’s guitar cutting out. Phil’s vocals were A+ with plenty of screams and sleaze!
The 75 minute set list took tunes of most LA Guns album. As a diehard fan, nothing was played off my favorite album Vicious Circle. An amazing evening and I hope to rock with the Guns again down the road!
