Great White and Warrant Live in Las Vegas By A Headbanger, Do You Bang Head? Wednesday, July 9, 2008 @ 10:35 PM
This is going to be a short one. You'll see why. Probably should write two reviews on this show, but here goes.
Great White played first. Great show. played all of the songs. "Rock Me", "Save your love", "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "On Your Knees" with (Led Zeppelin's) "Achilles Last Stand" thrown in at the end of it. All sounded loud and clear. Jack Russell pulled it off tremendously and Mark Kendall can play a mean guitar. The rest of the band played very solid.
I'm not going to add a set list because once again a Great White show was overshadowed by a catastrophe.
They tried to play "Uncle Toms Cabin", "Cherry Pie", "Heaven", etc. Don't get me wrong the band was killer, Jani, on the other hand? He forgot the words to "Heaven". The dudes singing that song to their girls in the crowd did a better job. I really don't know what happened to him but all I know is that the place was clearing out rapidly and a grip of people were asking for their money back.
If you thought Warrant sucked back in the day, there is proof now! You Tube it. Type in "Warrant sucks Las Vegas 7/5/08", and you can see for yourself. Sorry guys, I tried to sit through the show, but couldn't do it.
I wanted to write a long, drawn out review, which you guys love, but the show was so bad, it didn't warrant it!!!!!
