Amazon.co.uk is now listing the release date of Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy as August 25th. It is worth noting that they have previously listed its availability as September 2007, February 2008, and December 2008. Because of this, it is hard to put any faith in these dates. Amazon only knows what they are told by the record companies. Perhaps more promising though, is the fact that Amazon.com finally, for the first time ever, has a page for Chinese Democracy. Again, Amazon only knows what they are told by the record companies, but this one is worth putting stock in! Why? Never before has Amazon.com put up a Chinese Democracy page. (Thanks gnrdaily.com)
According to Dominicantoday.com, SEPULTURA have been invited by the Cuban Agency of Rock for the festival summer days, says the Cuban Institute of Music. The Brazilian band will offer two gigs organized by the Cuban Agency of Rock and the Young Communist League. Performances are scheduled for July 18 at the Antimperialist Tribune and on July 20 in Santa Clara.
XYZ vocalist Terry Ilous has issued the following update: "XYZ has a new CD out... well kinda. It's a best-of combining original recordings off the first and second CDs, and you know that you can no longer find them anywhere, along with a brand new track that Pat (Fontaine, bassist) and I have written together called 'Falling In You'. Only 500 CDs will be printed!"
The Best Of XYZ features the following songs: 'Don't Say No', 'Maggie', 'Face Down In The Gutter', 'Inside Out', 'Falling In You', 'When I Find Love', 'Take What You Can', 'Off To The Sun', 'What Keeps Me Loving You'.
Into Eternity guitarist Tim Roth has checked in with the following update: "Hello Everybody! The album version of 'Diagnosis Terminal' just got put up today. I know you all have heard the song already, but here is the real deal for you all. In the next while I'm sure we'll have another track for you all. The release date is coming up, so we hope you will all enjoy the new album. Thanks for all the support! Metal!"
