QUEENSRYCHE WRITING SONGS FOR NEW ALBUM
DUE FOR RELEASE LATE IN 2002 ON SANCTUARY RECORDS!
Progressive Rockers Queensryche have begun writing songs for their new,
as-yet-untitled studio album currently slated for release later this year on Sanctuary Records. The band is undertaking intensive songwriting sessions at Bear Creek Studios in Woodinville,WA.
Bassist Eddie Jackson said of these sessions, "...with more than enough ideas to choose from, it has made this writing process very exciting for us. I don't think we've ever had this many to work with before. Putting on our thinking caps and isolating ourselves in one room for several weeks, it has brought back the camaraderie that’s been missing over the last three releases."
The new studio album will be Queensryche's follow-up to the 2001 Sanctuary Records double live CD and DVD 'Live Evolution.' The DVD debuted at # 11 on Billboard's top music video sales chart.
