According to The Sun UK, Led Zeppelin are about to break the record for the most expensive concert tickets in British history. Three pairs, donated by guitarist Jimmy Page, are being auctioned for charity with the breathtaking reserve price of £5,000 (Approximately U.S. $10,000) a pair. And as more than a million fans want the 20,000 tickets for the gig at London’s O2 Arena on December 10, that price could rocket. They will be auctioned on Tuesday at the Seatwave.com website.
Pearl - named for the band’s lead singer, Pearl Aday – Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian’s longtime girlfriend (and Meat Loaf's daughter), has released her new EP featuring Ian, Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains) and Ted Nugent. AC/DC's new DVD set, Plug Me In, has entered the German Media Control chart at position #3 - German chart rules allow music DVDs to enter album charts. Plug Me In is a two-disc set (three-DVD limited version available as well) of more than five hours of concert footage and interviews, is out now.
