Opeth's newly-released live album, The Roundhouse Tapes, is currently streaming in its entirety here. Currently out in the UK via Peaceville, the North American release date has been confirmed for November 20th.
The Roundhouse Tapes contains a captivating Opeth performance from the Camden Roundhouse, London, UK, on November 9th, 2006 (a gig which also featured Paradise Lost).
The Korea Times reports: "Taekwondo Goodwill Ambassador: US legendary thrash metal band Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine and World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) Secretary General Yang Jin-suk posed for press photos Saturday as the Taekwondo governing body appoints Mustaine as a Goodwill Ambassador in Seoul."
According to Pcworld.ca, the complete and fully ordered Guitar Hero III setlist has unconfirmedly been leaked online to whet the appetite of franchise groupies. Video Games Blogger has generously compiled what they report as the complete, 74-song Guitar Hero III setlist, ordered by difficulty.
Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock launched yesterday, on Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, and Wii and will launch November 12 for PC and Mac. The setlist can be found here.
Children of Bodom bassist Henkka T. Blacksmith has checked in with the following studio update: "Now the guitars are mostly done!! There's only a couple of melodies missing, but anyway, we start recording bass tracks now, and then continue later with missing guitars. Janne (Warmen - keyboards)will also start recording his things now! Some guitar heroes were visiting the studio one day. Don't know what happened though, if they did any contribution to our album. Some banjos or what-have-yous were seen played at some point. I guess the cops had something to say also. And Mikko (Karmila) eats his booze nowadays."
Rock Of Love 2 will star none other than Poison frontman Bret Michaels, who’s ready to give reality TV dating another shot after things fizzled with Rock Of Love winner Jes. Expect more girls (20, to be exact) when Season 2 airs on January 13, 2008 on VH1.
