Nickelback opened the show with a tribute to ZZ Top, decked out in suits they played sharp dressed man. Sounded Great.
ZZ Top followed with 3 tracks, and they sounded like they were still in their prime.
Next up was Alice in Chains w/Gretchen Wilson, who tributed Heart playing a great version of Barracuda.
Heart followed with 3 tracks.
A band called Keene paid tribute to Genesis, and Genesis followed with 3 tracks. This to me was the lamest part of the show. They should have had Nonpoint do “In The Air”. Genesis had a poor song selection and sounded a bit off. Robin Williams who introduced the band, and was stalling for time, was actually more entertaining than Genesis. That dude is crazy.
Queens of The Stone Age played paranoid in tribute to the closer of the show, The Mad Man himself, The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne. He opened with his new track, "I Don't Wanna Stop", and then played “Bark at the Moon”, And “Crazy Train”, complete with Zakk Wylde tearing it up. They sounded great as usual.
The events host was Bam Margera, and presenters included Criss Angel, Jada Pinket Smith (Wicked Wisdom), Robin Williams, Cameron Diaz, Billy Bob Thorton, and others.
