Korn's Jonathan Davis: New Tour and Album in June By Newsferatu, Writer Friday, February 2, 2007 @ 2:35 PM
During the course of the interview David revealed that new Korn drummer Terry Bozio (Missing Persons, FM, Frank Zappa) has influenced the band to go in several different directions while recording music for a new album Davis says should be ready for release in June. Davis told KNAC.COM host Philthy Phil, the band will not name any of their songs until the album is finished, and there is, as of yet, no name for the album. He called the music a mix of several styles of music, including some heavy, "dirge" music, and even a couple of "prog-type" songs (Bozio's influence). Davis called Bozio, (who replaced original Korn drummer David Silveria who left the band to open a restaurant in Huntington Beach, California), "the best drummer in the world."
Davis said once the band is done recording, Korn will embark on an overseas tour, then come back and tour North America.
On a personal note, Davis and his wife are expecting their third child in April, and have chosen to name it Zeppelin.
