Van Halen will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. Original lead singer, David Lee Roth offered an uncharacteristically low key reaction, "It is an honor and a privilege to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame." As previously reported, Van Halen will go on tour this year with Eddie Van Halen's son, Wolfgang on bass guitar. There has been plenty of talk about DLR joining the band on the tour, including EVH calling DLR out in a recent interview, indicating the ball is in Roth's court. But, no official word has been offered on who will ride on the bus.
On January 30, 2007, Locomotive Records will release an Iron Maiden history DVD with the title The History Of Fear. The footage dates back to when the band was formed in East London in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris.
