Machine Head Rips Up Canada

Now, I'll just start by putting things into perspective: I was not a big Machine Head fan early on. I was only moderately impressed with their debut album Burn my eyes at first. Didn't seem like much compared to Pantera, etc. that year. Listening over time,
however, it did grow a lot on me. The following albums and rare tracks began to amaze me at the sheer scope and diversity of this band that still stayed 'heavy'. By the latest album Supercharger, I was hooked. No other band could produce such a sonic assault, and keep things different, and interesting with twists of style and melody. But
they never strayed too far from their 'mission statement'.
All that said…
I was pumped for the show in Vancouver, Canada. First show in a long
time (like 7 years) that they decided to come north of the border to
share-their-wares. I knew it would be memorable and felt fortunate to
be part of it.
Machine head not only did not disappoint, but gave me and 2000 fans, in
my opinion, the best live show I've ever heard and seen.
No fluff. Just a talented sonic assault. The brilliance of each song
just came through times 10 in each and every one played. No B.S.
filler. Absolutely flawless, heavy, and the most interactive, intense,
kick-ass show I've ever been too.
5 days later, I still can't walk! Machine Head's show is THE one for
ANYONE who loves heavy music.
